Research Profiles

Welcome to the Centre for Education Research

The Centre is an important aspect of our research culture. The Centre knits together a committed group of faculty investigators, scholars and graduate students who are working on funded research across a large range of topics in Educational Studies.  Our research is scholarly and applied and we strive to work with and for communities on Prince Edward Island, Canada and beyond.  We conduct research that addresses pressing social and educational issues.  Our research provides evidence that is timely, innovative and scholarly. Our current funded research is often highly collaborative and spans local, national and global settings.

The Centre for Education Research is located on the UPEI campus adjacent to the UPEI Qualitative Research Lab (http://katetilleczek.ca/qrl/) the CRC Lab (http://katetilleczek.ca/), doctoral student (Educational Studies) offices and Faculty of Education research offices.
